Role of Traditional Medicine in Healthcare

Traditional medicine are popular and acceptable to general public. Most commonly it is part of their food and daily ritual. In cases of pandemic like COVID or health disaster it is quite effective and economical. Proper documentation, characterization, of traditionally used medicinal plants or preparations is need of the hour. Popular Traditional system of medicine like Ayurveda advocates holistic health. A basic understanding and optimum use of traditional medicine is need of hour.
