1st case: Primary progressive multiple sclerosis. 2nd case: COVID 19 related encephalomyelitisephalitis in a 35-year-old female, with loss of consciousness and autonomic dysfunction
1st Case. A 51yo female diagnoses with PPMS. After 9 years, clinically deteriorated but MRI relatively no change. Previously she was treated with mycophenolate mofetil and no improvement. Discussion in the best-recommended treatment for the patient will need.2nd Case. A 35yo female with Covid-19 confirmed. In the first admission, she was also diagnosed with transverse myelitis that improved with high-dose methylprednisolone. She was readmitted due to a fever that during treatment tends to be intractable. Fever followed by a decrease in consciousness. PCR Sars Cov2 was not detected in CSF, but IgG Sars Cov was positive in CSF. Patient treated with high dose methylprednisolone and IVIG with good outcome
