There is an increasing interest on Quality Control Indexes in Endoscopy" (Djorkman 2006, Faigel/Cotton 2009, AJG 2015).We should focus this time on Upper GI Endoscopy. There are new concepts on the gastric cancer screening and prevention, thanks to new instruments (magnification & electronic staining) and the Prof Yao and Japanese endoscopists., systematic approach"
After our review of pre, intra and post upper GI Endoscopy, accepted quality criteria, we could design "new criteria to be added to the actual knowledge", thanks to the contribution of Japanese Experts, and the extent of such concepts in our Latin American area.
