Early esophageal cancer: challenging cases
Esophageal cancer is one of the most aggressive cancers in the world. Its two main subtypes, esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), have varying incidences globally. Screening interventions have focused on using endoscopy to identify Barrett’s esophagus (as a precursor to EAC) and early EAC, and squamous cell dysplasia and cancer. This teleconference will be focused on endoscopic features and histopathological characteristics of early esophageal cancer in difficult clinical cases.Connection Method
