Differences of targeted temperature management (TTM)

Targeted temperature management (TTM) is a complex intervention used with the aim of minimizing post-anoxic injury and improving neurological outcome after cardiac arrest. In international consensus, TTM is the only neuroprotective intervention currently recommended after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA).
However, recent studies showed similar survival and neurological recovery rates in OHCA patients treated at 33 °C or at 36 °C. Furthermore, there are supposed to be different approaches to providing TTM in every facilities. In this session, we will discuss this topic for seeking high quality TTM.
