Endoscopy Practice Towards The End of Covid-19 Tunnel
The Covid-19 pandemic has taken the world by surprise since the turn of the decade. Many aspects of the medical practice were affected including the practice of GI endoscopy. In order to minimize the spread of this highly contagious disease, various measures were being implemented such as pre-procedural risk stratification, deferment of elective endoscopies, staff reallocation, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, etc. The last few weeks witnessed a steady decline of the Covid-19 cases in most of the Asia Pacific region. Many sectors in society have since begun to operate again. In this ECE meeting, we will have presentations about our endoscopy practices during this transition period (recovery phase) followed by a panel discussion on how we should best resume our endoscopy service.Connection Method
