Environmental Epidemiology / Public Health: Building a Multidiscplinary Framework for Digital Exposome
As our technology to build IoT networks and wearable devices become more accessible and affordable, the digital exposome framework makes it possible to communicate invisible environmental factors into actionable data. It bridges a gap between our physical environment and our biological health. This session presents system considerations in helping build these exposure systems in an attempt to build digital twins and use big data in advancing public health and personal exposure research.
This session highlights how we conduct our campaigns, how we can use the information to instruct the public/community/individual and ultimately how can we build an infrastructure / develop solutions to make these data more accessible and help people to adapt their day to day activities and allow partnerships between communities and government to develop localized solutions in mitigating air pollution's impact to our health.
