Six presentations (15 minutes each) on Medical Education from Medical Colleges across India and one from Saudi Arabia by senior faculty members. The traditional role of a teacher has been to act as a source of information and to transmit this information to the learner. With the recent emphasis on the active role of the learner, the role of a teacher has changed and overall responsibility and functions in the educational process have increased tremendously: Managerial function, Teacher as a communicator, Teacher as a self-learner, Researcher worker, and role model. This session will highlight newer different teaching-learning, curricular aspects, and assessment processes as well as newer educational modifications in health professions education.Connection Method
