A 20-year old female with atypical bilateral optic neuritis, right-sided hemiparesis, and atypical brain MRI findings suspected due to demyelinating diseases
A 20-year old female had persistent blurred vision in both of her eyes for a year ago. She experienced additional symptoms of burping, nausea, and vomiting a month ago, which was followed with progressive right-sided weakness and slow response to conversation in the past two weeks. She had no personal and family history of autoimmune diseases as well drug or alcohol abuse. She was currently studying as a third-year radiology student.The certainty of neuroimmunology demyelinating disease as well as the most possible diagnosis of demyelinating diseases will be thoroughly discussed in this session.
