Colorectal ESD

Colorectal endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is one of the more challenging procedures among all the field of the therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy. On the other hand, colorectal cancer is increasing among western countries, including Southamerica and Chile where ESD is not widely available.
Colorectal ESD it is very important because it allows in-block resection of early colorectal neoplasia, so we can offer curative treatment for patients with the adventages of less recurrence compared with endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and an organ-sparring technique (compared with surgery).
On this Teleconference we will attend to Dr. Takashi Toyonaga (Kobe University Hospital) expert lecture’s about colorectal ESD.
